Meggan Moorhead

Meggan Moorhead, Ed.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. A graduate of Princeton and Boston Universities, she has trained with Dr. Linehan since 1991. She has approached Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) from the practice of psychotherapy with adult women and a life-long interest in spiritual practice. Dr. Moorhead is an experienced DBT individual psychotherapist and skills trainer and has developed and led DBT programs in both a long-term unit of a state mental hospital as well as in a private practice setting.
