"Please make a difference.
Wear your Survivors T-shirt and promote some talk about suicide & suicide prevention.
Reach out & be supportive of a friend, family member, or acquaintance who is struggling.
Be there for them." -- Larry Bernstein at the 2017 Walk
Together, We are Stronger.
Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the USA. Over 45,000 people die each year, 5 people every hour, 123 people every day. It's an epidemic.
Those left behind in the aftermath of a suicide are not alone. In fact, other survivors are the few capable of understanding and connecting with those who are lost in the pain and trauma. Together, we support each other as we struggle to deal with this painful and horrific loss.
